Kevin Mata is the Data and Operations Intern at Making Waves Education Foundation. In this role, he collaborates to identify and correct data anomalies in the Salesforce database. Kevin also creates Python scripts to analyze and process degree data. A proud Making Waves Academy alumnus from the 19th Wave, Kevin is a first-generation college student currently studying math-computer science and minoring in math education at UC San Diego. He is also a collective mentor at UC San Diego, supporting fellow students. What Kevin enjoys most about working at Making Waves is the opportunity to give back to his home community, which has been instrumental in his own academic and personal growth.
