Briggitte Bolanos Vieyra is a College Financial Services Coordinator at Making Waves Education Foundation. Her role consists of helping students navigate through the financial aspects of their college journey to ensure they graduate with none or as little debt as possible. Briggitte attended UC Berkeley for her undergraduate degree, majoring in social welfare. A proud Latinx first-generation college graduate herself, Briggitte understands the many challenges that come with obtaining a higher education degree. Therefore, she is committed to supporting and empowering students throughout their educational journeys. She has over five years of experience serving low-income underserved students through multiple college access programs. What Briggitte finds most meaningful about working with Making Waves Education Foundation is being able to witness students’ growth and accomplishments.
