What up Wave-Makers! I am Ms. Alexis Schoonard-Saborio (a.k.a. Ms. S.). I am one of your College Coaches here at CAP. I joined the family at Making Waves in August 2018. I was raised in Sacramento, CA and spent my college years in Southern California as well as the Midwest. I earned my B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis in Education Reform and a minor in Ethnic Studies from CSU Dominguez Hills. I also completed my M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University.
I love assisting students to discover their purpose, place, and passion within their life. I also appreciate seeing all students become empowered within their academics, co-curricular activities, and future professional endeavors. I look forward to connecting with you all!
