Corporate and nonprofit partnerships in action
Making Waves’ recent pilot program, Hands-On Health, in partnership with Kaiser led to 100% of students gaining increased information about career pathways, increased social capital connections, stronger durable skills, and renewed motivation for their future.
Let's partner!
We’re looking to fundamentally change how education connects to economic opportunity. Are you a funder, corporate partner, or university partner looking for win-win opportunities?
Ways to donate
Donations have an immediate and long-term impact. Your support means young people have the resources and pathways to reach their education and career goals.
Corporate partnerships
Let’s create hands-on learning opportunities and build career pathways together. Grow your organization’s engagement, build your talent pipeline, and be a part of community impact.
University partnerships
Grow your university’s brand awareness with our students and partner with a nonprofit invested in student success from 5th grade through college graduation.
About Making Waves
Making Waves supports thousands of students from low-income backgrounds through the lifecycle of their education and employment journeys. We partner with students – as early as 5th grade – in imagining the possibilities for their future, finding their purpose, and making intentional decisions toward their goals. Then, we provide the scholarship funding and personalized coaching to help make those dreams a reality.
Impact
At Making Waves, we’re opening doors to economic mobility. At Making Waves Academy, the A-G requirements are built into the curriculum so nearly all high school graduates are eligible for California State University and University of California admissions. From there, our proven college and career success program makes higher education affordable and graduation attainable.
