As Making Waves Education Foundation’s Marketing and Storytelling Intern, Runor Pinnock (she/her) works to develop and create quality marketing and digital content that highlights and brings awareness of the very mission of the organization: educational equity. Runor is a second-year sociology student at Los Medanos College currently pursuing her associate’s degree, with plans to transfer in the fall to a four-year university for her bachelor’s. She is dedicated to public service, racial advocacy, and seeing educational equity in her community, particularly Contra Costa. Her passions have led her to be volunteer with local community organizations like the Diablo Valley Women League of Voters and various food banks/community gardens. She is ecstatic to be working with an organization like Making Waves who shares the same vision for the Bay Area community as her.
