Miguel Mendoza is a Financial Services Manager for Making Waves Education Foundation. Miguel graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. Miguel has more than ten years in the field of access to higher education and financial aid. He began his career in Boston, at a non-profit called Bottom Line, where Miguel gained experience in college counseling and financial aid. He then had the privilege of working at KIPP San Jose Collegiate as a college counselor for high school seniors and Summer Search as a Post-Secondary advisor. Miguel has served and supported communities in San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland. Miguel is looking forward to providing financial resources and helping students build financial literacy skills.
