Leslie Quiroz-Pineda (she/her) is Making Waves Education Foundation’s Multimedia and Video Intern. In this role, she supports video editing, graphic design, and storytelling that highlights the journeys and impact of Wave-Makers. Leslie is a student at the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Cognitive Science with a minor in Data Science. As a former Wave-Maker herself, she finds meaning in giving back to a community that helped shape her. What she enjoys most about working at Making Waves is the space to grow. Whether it’s picking up a new skill or stepping into a creative challenge, she feels supported to try new things and continue learning.
