Kaitlyn Endo is the Career Development Manager at Making Waves Education Foundation. In this role, Kaitlyn is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating career programming as well as supporting Wave-Makers and Alumni navigate their respective career journey. Kaitlyn was born and raised in the Bay Area, a Contra Costa County native and graduated from the University of Oregon in 2017. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Family & Human Services and minored in Ethics, Media Studies, and Nonprofit Management. Kaitlyn has experience working with a variety of communities and carrying out a wide range of nonprofit programming and direct services, but has spent the past 5 years dedicated to career services in the college access and success space. She comes with experience in career related curriculum development, career workshops, community engagement, career and internship program management, alumni and volunteer relations, project management, and more. Her work is grounded in equity and social justice, and she strongly believes in the transformative power of education. Kaitlyn is passionate about education accessibility and feels privileged to work on behalf of and in partnership with Wave-Makers, carrying out Making Waves Education Foundation’s mission and vision.
