Justin is the Vice President of Partnerships at Making Waves Education Foundation. In this role, he develops relationships with corporate, foundation, educational, and nonprofit partners to expand and fund Making Waves’ work. Previously, Justin was the Managing Director of Foundation & Corporate Partnerships at Teach For America Northern California, where he led institutional fundraising strategy. He has a rich background in partnership development, program development, operations, and fundraising at education non-profits across New York, San Diego, Sacramento, and the Bay Area. Justin serves on the board of Narrative Magazine, a non-profit digital publisher with a school program that reaches 120,000 students and teachers worldwide. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in educational leadership, politics, and advocacy from New York University. As a first-generation college graduate, Justin finds unlocking economic and educational opportunities for Wave-Makers through impactful partnerships to be the most meaningful aspect of his work.
