As a corporate investor, your contribution showcases your company’s commitment to the underserved youth in our community who are working tirelessly to achieve their dreams of a college degree.
Born out of the desire to help youth from low-income households complete college on time without taking on crippling debt, CAP is the college success program of Making Waves Foundation. CAP provides one-on-one coaching, financial literacy training, and need-based scholarships for students throughout their entire college experience—working to help them graduate as quickly and with as little debt as possible.
CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
CAP Graduation Gala
June 28th at Hotel Shattuck Plaza in downtown Berkeley
This joyous evening celebrates CAP students who have graduated from college. This year is a historic year: the first class of high-school graduates from Making Waves Academy are graduating from college. We had a vision of serving youth from 5th grade all the way through college graduation, and in 2019, we have done it! Celebrate this achievement through a sponsorship at one of the following levels:
- Principal Sponsor: $10,000
- Lead Sponsor: $5,000
- Event Sponsor: $2,500
All sponsorships will support CAP’s high-impact coaching and need-based scholarships. As an appreciation of your company’s support, we offer broad recognition at the event through event signage and program as well as complimentary tickets to the event where your executives will sit with CAP graduates and engage in meaningful conversation about their inspirational journeys.
In addition to the recognition listed above, Principal Sponsors have the opportunity to have their logo on the print invitation and to speak at the event about their company’s commitment to the community. In order to place your logo on the printed invitation, please let us know if you are interested in becoming a Principal Sponsor by April 15, 2019.
To participate, please contact Vice President of External Relations, Shannon Bowen, by June 1st. Checks can be received until June 30, 2019. Please reach out with any questions to Shannon at (510) 368-3626 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
