Dr. Kristina Wright is the Vice President of Student Success with the Making Waves Education Foundation. She is a West Contra Costa County, California native and earned her EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC. In this role, Dr. Wright is charged with leading program improvement and innovation to strengthen the quality and student outcomes of our college and career success programming – across the coaching services, financial services, and early career teams.
In addition to a long-standing commitment to partnering with Wave-Makers, Dr. Wright brings a student- and equity-centered program design lens; and a clear focus on using data and learning cycles to drive greater results with students. In recent years, she has demonstrated this in her work with Pittsburg High School. Dr. Wright fell in love with the mission of the organization and the Wave-Makers years ago and is still committed to partnering with them to achieve their goals.
