Felicia Tripp

Felicia Tripp is a Learning and Development Manager and College Coach with Making Waves Education Foundation. In this role, she creates partnerships and designs and facilitates trainings that promote student-coach partnerships and strengthen program impact. Additionally, she serves as a College Coach in order ground her offerings in students’ and coaches’ lived experience. Felicia’s coaching approach is based on the belief that helping students draw upon their bodies, minds, and hearts to identify their strengths and make decisions has a positive impact on their personal and professional lives. Prior to joining Making Waves Education Foundation, Felicia worked as an advisor for medical and pre-health students and as a general counselor in community college. Additionally, she leads workshops and studies mindful movement, somatic coaching and grief work. She completed her master’s degree in college and career counseling at San Francisco State University. In her work at Making Waves, Felicia most values mindful moments with students and coaches when they take a breath together and reflect on their present moment feelings.
