People at ribbon cutting event

On October 5th, Making Waves Foundation hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the expanded and enhanced Lakeside campus it constructed for Making Waves Academy. Through this expansion, the school is now educating more than 1,000 students from the surrounding community and will grow to its full capacity of 1,500 over the next five years. The expanded upper school campus opened last month, adding to the expanded middle school campus, which opened last year.

Making Waves Foundation designed the expanded campus with input from Making Waves Academy teachers, leadership, parents, and students. The campus will serve more students and promote student achievement by providing access to high-quality facilities that support 21st-century learning approaches and enable broader programming.
