Providing The Educational Opportunities That Change Lives
Transportation
One of the biggest hurdles for those who live in marginalized and resource-starved neighborhoods is a lack of reliable transportation. Making Waves provides stable transportation options for all students and staff members. Middle school students are brought to and from school and the program five days a week. High school students are provided, when needed, with bus tickets and BART passes to attend school and tutoring sessions. Transportation is also provided for all field trips, cultural events, and college visits.
